Windows Shortcuts

We all know a few or every available Shortcuts in Windows. Mainly they are “Windows Key” + other keys

But we need more (humans are always greedy:D) lol

Not just greedy, some people are lazy too, like me and don’t even want to do more than a few clicks. Without clicks, one can not use Windows, we don’t type commands (some of us do) here but we just click and click…..

For all the people like me who don’t want to Click on “Start Button” –> “Settings” –> “Control Panel” –> “Add Remove Programs” just to see/uninstall a program, we can have following shortcuts on our desktop/quick launch toolbar instead which will solve the same purpose in one click.

Right click on empty area of Desktop and select New and then Shortcut

you will get following screen where you can get your customized Shortcuts

if you read in the snapshot, you’ll notice six different kinds of shortcuts can be created. We’ll go for Local shortcuts, simply by pasting one out of following commands in Browse box

Add/Remove Programs

You can always go to the Properties of this newly created Shortcut and put your Favorite Icon to make it jazzy.

You can drag this shortcut to your Quick Launch Toolbar and add it there.

Same way shortcuts can be created for Network Programs, Files, Folders, Computers or Internet Addresses.
